Himalayan Singing Bowls

Nature’s sounds, our voices and music all serve to open, energize, balance, harmonize and align the Chakras. It is said that “Sound + Intention = Healing”.

I work mainly with hand crafted Nepalese metal bowls, whose vibrations have more undertones and depth than the precisely tuned and factory molded crystal bowls. Himalayan Singing Bowls are comprised of a sacred mix of seven metals with the techniques having been perfected in India about the time of Buddha’s birth.

The ones I use are sourced by Suren Shrestha of Nepal, who is the Author of “How to Heal with Singing Bowls”. They are made by clans near his home village and hand hammered while “being infused with love and positive energy by chanting traditional Mantras”, often with their tin roofs open under the light of the moon.

Unlike sound baths you may have experienced, I heal with “on body” playing of the bowls. This method is much more powerful in allowing the vibrations to deeply penetrate your being and open, energize, balance and restore alignment of the Chakras.
